1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ManeMatch (“the Service”), operated at manematch.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of ManeMatch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

ManeMatch is an AI-powered hairstyle preview platform that allows users to upload photos and preview how different hair colors and hairstyles would look on them. The Service also connects users with hairstylists through a marketplace where clients can share their AI-generated looks and book appointments. Features include hair color preview, AI hairstyle swap, face shape analysis, and stylist booking.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

To access certain features of ManeMatch, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

ManeMatch offers the following subscription plans:

All paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ManeMatch to:

• Upload, generate, or share content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW
• Upload photos of other people without their consent
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service or its AI models
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, subscription restrictions, or security measures
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
• Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain full ownership of any photos you upload to ManeMatch. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that image solely for the purpose of generating your requested hairstyle preview. We do not claim ownership of your photos or use them for any purpose beyond providing the Service.

AI-Generated Previews

Hairstyle previews generated by our AI are provided for your personal use, including sharing with stylists for consultation and on social media. You may not sell or commercially redistribute AI-generated previews.

Our Content

The ManeMatch name, logo, website design, AI models, and all other proprietary materials are owned by ManeMatch and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ManeMatch is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ManeMatch in the 12 months prior to the claim

8. Stylist Marketplace

ManeMatch provides a platform for hairstylists and salons to list their services and receive bookings from clients. Important terms regarding the marketplace:

• Stylists are independent professionals — they are not employees, agents, or contractors of ManeMatch
• ManeMatch is a platform — we facilitate connections between clients and stylists but are not a party to any agreement between them
• We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services offered by stylists on the platform
• Stylists are responsible for maintaining any required licenses and insurance for their jurisdiction
• Disputes between clients and stylists should be resolved directly between the parties, though we may assist in mediation at our discretion

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended period of inactivity
• Failure to pay subscription fees

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ManeMatch, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
